This collection TWO ACT PLAYS contains two two act plays: Redemption, and Death of a Psychiatrist. Redemption is a play about a woman who is trying to redeem herself from a mistake she made twenty years before the play begins. Death of a Psychiatrist is about the killing of a psychiatrist by an ex-patient, who thinks the psychiatrist indulged himself, during the therapy, in an egregious form of what is called countertransference.

The book consists of three parts. The first part gives an elementary derivation of the five basic equations of the discrete Kalman filter. The second part is a collection of reports on color matching with much use made of the theory of least squares. The third part shows how the discrete Kalman filter can be looked at as iterated least squares.
